Product Engineer / Process Development Engineer for leading RFID product manufacturer. Reports to R&D Manager.

 

• Participate in launch and development of new products and processes to meet customer demand
• Initiate, plan and lead projects and process development efforts
• Provide technical support for manufacturing as well as process improvement
• Manage new equipment installations and performance related design changes
• Participate with purchasing in raw material sourcing
• Work closely and support Sales Team, Application Engineers, and Operations

 

 

Min.4 year engineering degree in electrical or mechanical science.

 

Min. 3 years industrial experience in product development and/or manufacturing engineering in an electrical/electronic manufacturing environment. Experience in one or more of the following areas is required

 

• Development of RF products with experience in RFID preferred
• Experience with testing of electronic and RF products in a laboratory or production environment

 

Skills/Experience that would be a plus include:

 

• Experience with encapsulation technologies, such as Plastics molding or forming
• Experience with label conversion and materials
• Experience with automated testing of electronic and radio frequency products in a production environment
• Able to Travel if needed
• Familiar with ACAD
• Strong project management skills
